in Southampton, MicKilner Solutions draws from extensive expertise amassed over
decades in the UK solar industry and the South African HVAC market. Founders: MicKilner Solutions was founded by brothers Craig Kilner and Jonathan
Macdonald.
Craig Kilner: With
19 years in Southampton, Craig boasts a rich legacy in the UK solar
industry. He co-founded Solar Roofing Specialists (SRS) 13 years ago, a
venture that installed over 100,000 solar panels across approximately 1800
successful projects. In 2023, Craig and his partner resolved to embark on
independent paths, laying the groundwork for MicKilner Solutions.
Jonathan Macdonald: Recently
having moved to the UK from South Africa, Jonathan brings 16 years of
experience from the HVAC market in South Africa. He successfully completed
main commercial and industrial projects collaborating closely with his
clients and factory in China.
Offerings: At MicKilner Solutions, we possess the experience and capabilities to
tackle projects of any size with confidence. Our capabilities extend to
installation of solar panels, with the associated wiring having used many of
the mounting system for both roof and ground mount systems. Craig has extensive
experience as a roofer, integrating in-roof mounting systems, tiling, slating
and water proofing of roofs on large housing projects. Commitment
